AMET, Inc., a progressive manufacturing company located in Rexburg, Idaho, is seeking a skilled, motivated individual to join our team as a Machinist.

Since 1989, AMET has been an innovator and integrator of advanced automated welding systems built for demanding industrial applications. Our systems serve the nuclear, aircraft, aerospace, oil and gas, wind tower, heavy industry, and general manufacturing industries.

In this role, you will machine and fabricate precision components used in custom-built welding equipment, fixtures, and positioning systems. You will work hands-on with manual and CNC mills and lathes, write and edit G-code and M-code, and use CAD/CAM software to support machining operations.

Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Available benefits include vacation and personal leave, medical and dental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

📋 Responsibilities:

• Training or hands-on experience with manual and CNC mills and lathes.
• Machine and fabricate components for automated welding equipment, welding fixtures, and positioning equipment.
• Write and edit G-code and M-code.
• Work with CAD/CAM software.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of machining aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel through relevant training or experience.
